It's hard to believe, but it's been 10 years since Ticket to Ride, designed by Alan R. Moon, was first published by Days of Wonder. I named it the best game of 2004, and it has proven to have a lot of staying power.
To celebrate, Days of Wonder has published a deluxe 10th Anniversary Edition of Ticket to Ride. The giant U.S. board map is 50 percent larger than the original, and it includes five sets of custom sculpted plastic trains, each featuring a different type of train car and unique paint scheme. The graphics on the board and cards have all be redone, and it comes with 69 destination tickets -- all of those from the original game, plus those previously available in the 1910 expansion.
If you love Ticket to Ride, this is a must-have. If you've never played, this is a great way to enjoy the game.
